Tipsy Collective’s latest cheeky animal-themed venue plans to attract global partygoers with international gigs
Rae Ng, Marketing and Communications Director, Tipsy Collective, recently spoke with WiT about the unique aspects and future plans for Tipsy Unicorn, the latest venture under the Collective. This 19,000-square-foot beach club, located on Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, aims to enhance entertainment and lifestyle experiences in Singapore.
“Tipsy Unicorn has always been poised to be a top-notch entertainment, F&B and lifestyle destination in Singapore and the region, and it’s also our biggest and most ambitious project to date,” explained Ng.
Tipsy Unicorn, which took three years to develop, is envisioned as a destination where nature, entertainment, gastronomy, and music converge. According to Ng, the venue, spanning 19,000 square feet with a 5,000-square-foot outdoor space, can accommodate up to 500 guests. It features amenities including daybeds, private lounge cabanas, VIP suites, and a fitness area.
“Our ultimate brand message is largely something that you can really tell when you visit our venue,” continued Ng. “One of the showcase of our venue is our main pool area. We have a very elaborate design stage that leads our VIPs to the cabanas and the Ocean View main bar area, so guests can really enjoy our extensive range of food and beverage while enjoying the stunning views of Siloso Beach and breathtaking sunsets.”

Tipsy Unicorn distinguishes itself as the only beach club on Sentosa to feature live bands, complemented by state-of-the-art staging, lighting, LED screens, and sound systems. This setup makes it suitable for large group parties, grand celebrations, and a variety of event needs. However, Ng emphasised that Tipsy Unicorn is designed to be a versatile space, offering curated entertainment acts, fitness activities, stylish bottle presentations, and a games area hosted by their Tipsy Angels.
“Our venue is set to be the destination for partygoers, food enthusiasts, music lovers as well as fun-seekers in Singapore and beyond,” said Ng. “Through our design, we wanted guests to embrace their vibrant spirit as they step into Tipsy Unicorn.
“It’s all about unparalleled fun and relaxation.”
Ng explained, “Our target audience and demographics comprises from ages 18 to 35 and one of the ways that we’ve managed to attract this audience is through a curated selection of music genres. We also have chart-topping hits, electronic dance music, open style music, as well as our lineup of both international and local deejays, along with popular live bands. And this guarantees a soundtrack that resonates with the audience.
“In addition, our regular live performances and themed events allows guests to party, dine and dance from day to night in our pools and on the sandy shores.”
Since its opening in October 2023, Tipsy Unicorn has planned an array of events, including a few to end 2024 on a high note. This includes participation in the Singapore Tourism Board’s Wellness Festival in June, celebrations around the Formula 1 season in September, and the inaugural Tipsy Festival in October to mark its first anniversary. Additionally, the club has exciting plans for Halloween and a (bigger) New Year’s countdown party.
Looking ahead, Ng shared that Tipsy Collective, the parent group of Tipsy Unicorn, is expanding its footprint internationally, starting with the opening of Tipsy Flamingo in Kuala Lumpur in December 2023.
“The entry of Tipsy Unicorn to Sentosa was meant to deliver an unrivaled beach club concept that will encourage guests to party from day to night,” said Ng.
“We wanted to change the game with a fresh outlook on Southeast Asia’s beach club scene and we are very excited to embark on this partnership with Sentosa.”
